Bonbarah has been three years in the making.
What started as two mates throwing around ideas for a surf brand slowly became something we kept coming back to. Designs changed, ideas got scrapped, life got busy — but Bonbarah never really went away.
Growing up exploring the coast of South Australia, we both fell in love with life around the ocean. Early starts, long days at the beach, road trips, good waves and the kind of afternoons you don’t want to end. That lifestyle became a big part of what inspired Bonbarah and our idea of creating surfwear that felt genuinely Australian and true to the culture we grew up around.
Over the years, we kept refining what we wanted the brand to look like, feel like and stand for. Eventually, we stopped talking about doing it one day and decided to make it real.
Bonbarah is our take on surfwear — pieces we genuinely want to wear ourselves, made with a focus on considered design, quality and that feeling of being out there with nowhere else you need to be.
